Today the first wave of artists has landed for Sónar Lisboa 2025, with 15 names who are driving club culture forward in 2025. With the dates locked in for 11th, 12th, and 13th April, and Full Festival Passes available now, now’s the time to plan a trip to Lisbon to kick off next year’s festival season.
Amor Satyr & Siu Mata (FR) | Anetha (FR) | BASHKKA b2b Ogazón (TR/ES) | Clementaum (BR) | Gabber Eleganza presents ‘The Hakke Show’ (IT) | Héctor Oaks (ES) | ISAbella (CO/ES) | JASSS (ES) | Jennifer Cardini (FR) | Juliana Huxtable (US) | Marcel Dettmann presents ‘My Own Shadow’ live (DE) | Max Cooper live (UK) | Modeselektor DJ set (DE) | Nina Kraviz (RU) | NOIA (PT)
This is just a taste of the full programme - with plenty more artists due to be announced soon - which takes over Parque Eduardo VII in central Lisbon for three days next spring.
Leading the announcement are three techno artists who expand the definition of the genre. Berghain resident Marcel Dettmann presents a brand-new live show, intriguingly entitled ‘My Own Shadow’. He’s joined by Siberian trailblazer Nina Kraviz, and French techno star Anetha, fresh off a showstopping set at Sónar 2024. Also announced today is a brand-new show by innovative AV artist Max Cooper, and three of the underground’s most in-demand selectors in ISAbella and BASHKKA b2b Ogazón.
Longtime friends of Sónar, veteran Berlin duo and Monkeytown Records founders Modeselektor lead a list of DJs who are keeping the spirit of the rave alive in 2025. Selector and label owner Jennifer Cardini has been quietly widening clubber’s horizons over the last three decades: they arrive in Lisbon after a stunning back-to-back set with HAAi at Sónar by Night in June. Two other highlights from Sónar 2024 also travel to Lisbon: Gabber Eleganza’s celebration of gabber subculture The Hakke Show, and the refined rave stylings of Spanish artist JASSS, who closed Sónar by Night this year.
Another Spanish underground superstar, Héctor Oaks, returns to Lisbon for a relentless set of raw techno, ghetto house and electro. Multidisciplinary American artist Juliana Huxtable turns technology in on itself, hacking rave culture from the inside, while rising Portuguese artist NOIA is helping put jungle and drum’n’bass back on dancefloors from her base in Porto. Fast-paced Parisian duo Amor Satyr & Siu Mata link Latin rhythms with tribal techno and jungle; they’ll meet their match in Clementaum, one of the hottest names from the wildly creative Brazilian scene.
With more artists due to be announced soon, we strongly recommend you grab your Full Festival Pass, available now for just €100 + booking fee - prices will increase when we announce more names. We can’t wait to kick off the 2025 festival season in Lisbon with you on 11th, 12th and 13th April next year!
